Girl injured in Wardha Road mishap dies

A 24-year-old girl died on Sunday from injuries sustained in a road accident that took place on Wardha road on Saturday. Shivani Giripunje, a resident of Plot No 16, Pragati Colony, Wardha Road, succumbed to the injuries at hospital on Sunday. She was part of the group that met gory mishap when their Mahindra Thar vehicle turned turtle.
 
The group had gone to a restro to celebrate Shivani’s birthday. Yash Rajendra Rahate (22), a resident of Gopal Nagar, died on the spot after the accident. Shivani was a young Architect. She was daughter of Adv Ravi Giripunje. The last rites will be performed at 11 am on Monday at Mokshadham, added a press note released by her family.
