Sudden rains have though plummeted the temperature but it also adds to humidity in the weather

Owing to western disturbance and low-pressure system developed over the region, the climatic condition of the city have affected unexpectedly. Light drizzle soaked the city on Sunday night. Though scattered clouds were seen on city skies since morning, but late in the evening thick black clouds hovered over the city all of a sudden. Within few minutes lightening started illuminating city skies and rain started lashing the city. It is reported that some areas of the city have received heavy rainfall. The sudden rains have though plummeted the temperature but it also adds to humidity in the weather.

For the last few days city dwellers have been facing warm weather. Unexpected rain has plummeted the temperature and make the weather pleasant. The minimum temperature on Sunday was registered at 16.6 degree Celsius, which was above three degree to normal range while maximum temperature was recorded at 29.6 degree Celsius, which was within normal range. The humidity in the morning was 65 per cent while in the evening it was 46 per cent. The city also received rainfall of .3 mm.

Last year the maximum temperature on the same day was 25.2 degree Celsius while minimum temperature was recorded at 10.6 degree Celsius. The weatherman informed that changed weather conditions would not persist longer and the clouds would depart early. However, rain or thundershowers may hit some part of the division in next 24 hours. He said the mercury would plummet when city skies would get clear after leaving of clouds.
