Rawmatt expanding CNG outlet network in Vid City-based Rawmatt Industries Pvt. Ltd, India’s first private sector LNG storage and dispensing facility in Nagpur, is not only opening new CNG refueling stations here but also attracting large number of consumers towards the safe and eco-freindly fuel. The company will soon set up three new CNG stations in Nagpur taking the number of such facilities to five. At present, the company operating two stations located at Automotive Square and Wadi.
 
The new stations are coming up at Khapri, Hingna and Pardi. Sources told The Hitavada that Rawmatt Industries is aggressively expanding its based in Central India as demand of the eco-freindly is raising leaps and bounds. CNG is very popular fuel in places like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Gujarat and other places. It is also attracting people of Central region. “The main reason behind the raising popularity of CNG is that it is very safe and eco-freindly. Moreover, it is very economical, as the running cost is 35 % cheaper then HSD/Petrol,” said most of those who are consuming it.Abhijeet Meshram, one of the satisfied customers who owns Maruti Ignis, said that his car’s performance has increased dramatically as soon as he started filling CNG in his car. “I am very happy to notice positive changes in my car.
 
 
It is safe, eco-freindly and cost effective. Earlier I used to get mileage of 16 km per liter (on petrol) but now it has gone up to 25-26 per kg of CNG,” he said. Another customer who is an auto rickshaw driver, Taufeek Khan, said his rickshaw runs 40-41 km on 1 kg of CNG. On petrol he would get mileage of 27-28 km per liter. “CNG has proved a very good option for me. It has increased my daily earnings,” he highlighted. Though it is just a beginning here in Vidarbha region, the CNG has already caught attention of many vehicle owners. It is important to note that the Nagpur Municipal Corporation is making all its public transport buses compatible for CNG. nearly half of its fleet is running on CNG.
