COVID-19 patients booked for negligence

Lordganj police have registered a case for negligent likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life and disobedience of order issued by public servant against Mukesh Agrawal who along with his wife and daughter were found infected with novel coronavirus. It may be noted that Mukesh Agrawal along with his wife and daughter recently returned from Dubai, neglected the order of Chief Medical and Health Officer, Jabalpur and tired to dodge their medical examination.
 
According to Lordganj police, they received a written complaint from Naib Tehsildar Gaurav Pandey that District Magistrate, on March 16, 2020, had imposed Section 144 and ordered that any residents to be returned from any foreign country will have to pass through medical screening at District Government Hospital before entering the district.
 
Violating the order of District Magistrate, Mukesh Agrawal along with his wife and daughter returned from Dubai and reached at his residence situated at Kachhiyana, Gole Bazar Jabalpurians have already started observing Janta Cerfew from Saturday onwards. The commercial important places which remain closed on Saturday were Malviya chowk, Super market, Lordganj, Ghamandi chowk, Bada Phuhara, Kamania, Sarafa, Kotwali, Sunarhai, Niwadganj, Andherdeo, Tularam chowk, Omti, Karamchand chowk and markets in Ranjhi, Adhartal sub urban areas were also remain closed, on Saturday. Meanwhile, the district administration has appealed the citizens to extend full support to Janta Cerfew, called by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Collector, Bharat Yadav has urged the citizens to remain united in the fight against the deadly Coronavirus and extend support in measures being take to check its spread in Jabalpur. Various trade, industries and other associations have already decided to keep the market closed till Tuesday.
 
 
 
25 suspects kept in isolation n Staff Reporter Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Manish Mishra informed that taking prompt action after finding the three members of a family returned from Dubai and a student returned from Switzerland affected with novel coronavirus, persons came in contact with the affected persons were identified. All the 25 suspects have been kept in isolation as precautionary measures and further medical examination. Separate teams of medical and district administration with the help of police department started rigorous search and conducted examination of total 21 persons contacted with Agrawal family and four persons in contact of affected student.

The samples of as many as three suspected people sent to the ICMR come negative, on Saturday. The report cleared that the suspected person has no Coronavirus infection. The negative report is a great relief for the city. Collector Bharat Yadav and Additional Collector Sandeep G R have informed that after detection of 4 coronavirus patients in the city, the administration has kept in isolation as many as 22 people who came in close contact of the 4 patients. They said no suspected case of COVID-19 came in the District Hospital on Saturday and the 3 samples which were sent to the ICMR on the basis of suspect also came negative. Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner, Ravindra Mishra and the Collector have called upon the citizens to be careful and alert to prevent any spread of Coronavirus infection. It may be noted that after the coronarirus report of 4 patients come positive, the district administration is constantly appealing citizens to stay in their homes and follow the guidelines of the government
