Their tireless efforts ensuring smooth flow of essential commodities 
 
Central Railway’s track maintainer are working silently during the lockdown period to keep the movement of goods train continue. Indian Railway is ensuring the smooth movement of freight and parcel traffic for supply of essential commodity in the various part of our country in this lockdown situation. The track maintainers are working round the clock to keep the track safe for movement of freight traffic. Engineering Department of Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Bhusawal and Nagpur division of Central Railway, closely monitoring the track maintenance work.
 
A railway official said that all sorts of protective equipment’s have been provided to the track maintainer. Similarly, Sr DEN (Co-ordination) of each division is personally interacting with the staffers for summer precautions and guiding them to maintain social distancing while performing their works. Besides, Section Engineers are ensuring distribution of mask, sanitizers, soap and hand gloves to the track maintainers. Apart from this, trackwomen of Central Railways are preparing mask for their colleagues and Railway employees on-duty.
 
Malti and Kalpana Neware, both from Chandrapur, Monika Waghmare and Ranjana Kshirsagar from Ajni have prepared 150 face masks each for the staff. “They have taken task of preparing 150 face-masks more,” he said and added that a total of 1,200 facemasks are being prepared by trackwomen voluntarily at their home.
