Couples tied nuptial knot amidst ongoing lockdown to cut the COVID 19 spread, on Sunday.

Complying all regulations of lockdown and social distancing a couple has tied nuptial knot on Sunday at the Shiva Mandir situated at the bank of Hanuman pond. With permission of eight people including newly wed couple, their family members and Priest the marriage was solemnised as per Hindu traditions. According to the information marriage of Shubham Vishwakarma a resident of Gwarighat area fixed around four months ago with Ritu Vishwakarma of Hanumantaal area.
 
All arrangements of their marriage were made completely to solemnise marriage on April 26, 2020 but following lockdown declared in the country to cut the spread of Corona Virus epidemic, they could not cancel their marriage following some unavoidable circumstances. With mutual agreement of both families to hold marriage from temple, the couple seeked permission from district administration to solemnise marriage from temple in simple manner following norms of lockdown and social distancing.
 
In this SDM Gorakhpur have permitted eight people including couple Shubham and Ritu Vishwakarma, relatives including Dinesh and Preeti Sharma and Pramod and Kavita Vishwakarma. Ritu Vishwakarma and her parents Arun and Laxmi Devi Vishwakarma have been allowed in the marriage as per norms of COVID 19 regulations and on maintaining social distancing.
