Separate crematorium, burial grounds for corona deceased

Bhopal Municipal Corporation and district administration ensured separate crematorium grounds and burial grounds for the last rites of deceased corona patient on Monday. There would be free PPE kits for employees of crematorium ground and burial ground. This decision was taken in the meeting chaired by BMC Commissioner Vijay Datta and Additional District Magistrate B Satish Kumar. This meeting was called in connection of ensuring arrangement for last rites of deceased corona patients.
The operators of various identified crematorium grounds and burial grounds were also present in the meeting. When body of deceased corona patient will reach, Four crematoriums identified Bhopal administration has marked four crematoriums to perform the last rites of the COVID-19 positive patients. Collector Tarun Pithode has ordered that the COVID-19 patients must be cremated at Subhash Nagar crematorium, Jadda Jahangirabad and at the graveyard in Barkhedi. The Health Department will provide the PPE kits, masks and sanitisers at the crematorium.
