2 involved in illegal trade of prohibited vaccines held

Police have seized 60 Pheniramine Maleate IP Alvervill, 30 Pheniramine Maleate Injection Avil, 35 Tramatas and 40 disposable syringes 
 
Hanumantal police have arrested two accused involved in illegal trade of prohibited vaccines and seized bulk of prohibited vaccines, tables and disposable syringe from them. The arrested have been identified as Shameem Ansari (44), resident of Budhi Khermai, Charkhambha and Viresh Lohan (26), resident of Sindhi Camp area. According to Hanumantal police, they received information that a man named Shameem Ansari was selling prohibited injections in the area.
 
Acting promptly on the information, police started a search and found Shameem Ansari who was selling injections at a gully in front of Budhi Khermai temple. Witnessing the police team, Shameed started running away from the spot but alert cops managed to catch the accused. In his search, police have seized 60 Pheniramine Maleate IP Alvervill, 30 Pheniramine Maleate Injection Avil, 35 Tramatas and 40 disposable syringes from him. In further investigation, the accused disclosed the name of Viresh Lohan who sold him prohibited drugs in Sindhi Camp area.
 
On his identification, police started a search for Viresh Lohan and succeeded in apprehending him in Sindhi Camp area. Police have seized 90 Pheniramine Maleat Injection IP Alervil, 100 Pheniramine Injection Avil, 75 Tramatas and 64 disposable syringes from him. Hanumantal police have registered a case under Section 328 of the IPC and Sections 5 and 13 of Drug Control Act while further investigations are underway to identify the source of supplying prohibited drugs.
