Full body sanitisation machine has been installed in Smart city control room in the State capital. The employees will be able to enter the office after passing through full body santisation. At an extremely stressful time when the State Government is on a war front to prevent the possible spread of Corona pandemic, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has intensified sanitation and cleanliness drives across the city involving disinfecting the slums, regular fogging of wards in a phase-wise manner, street sweeping and cleaning of major roads and inside ones, bush cutting, sprinkling of bleaching powder along roads, garbage points, and temporary transit station.

These activities of BMC have been undertaken with directions from BMC Commissioner Vijay Datta. In a bid to ensure precautions for officials working at BMC control room this machine has been installed for employees.

The officials are also planning to install such machines in institutions which are working during this lockdown. While BMC has started the slum-level, the unit with disinfectant and spray machines apart from spraying the chemicals is also making the people aware about the COVID-19 pandemic and telling them to stay at home and practice social distancing at medical shops and vegetable markets.
