MEMBER of Parliament (MP) Rakesh Singh inspected temporary control room established at Rajiv Gandhi ward to provide ration to the needy people during lockdown. In view of the lockdown and curfew imposed in the city during coronavirus pandemic, a temporary control room has been set-up at Shanti Nagar in Rajiv Gandhi ward to provide ration and food to the poor.
MP Rakesh Singh along with City President of BJP G S Thakur and former Mayor-In-Council Member Shriram Shukla visited the control room and instructed the workers, engaged in service to provide ration and door-to-door food facility. They said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon to provide ration and food to poor and needy people during the current situation.
On this occasion, former Corporator of Rajiv Gandhi ward Shukla along with other workers provided ration to the needy people and urged them to follow the guidelines of lockdown and curfew imposed by the administration in view of the coronavirus infection. They also urged people to stay at home and to avoid the infection.Those also present on the occasion were Dayaram Khatri, Madhubala Rajput, Pawan Gupta, Bhushan Pathak, Manoj Tiwari, Amit Mishra, Ashutosh Patel, Neeraj Tiwari, Sudhir Nagaich, Govind Vishwakarma and others.
