Blood donation camp was organised for children suffering from Thalassemia by Gurunanak Mandal at Idgah Hills Community Hall on Sunday. Around 72 people donated blood in the camp. On this occasion Rukesh Kukreja, President of Gurunanak Mandal told that every child suffering from Thalassemia requires in every 15 to 20 days, but due to coronavirus pandemic lockdown, blood is not available. In view of this, a blood donation camp was organised so that children living with Thalassemia can be given a new life.
 
In the blood donation camp, former Mayor Alok Sharma said that blood does not form in any factory, blood is a gift given by God, which only human beings can donate. On the occasion, newly-appointed BJP District President Sumit Pachauri said that the work done by Gurunanak Mandal is commendable. Many other people including Jaikishan Lalchandani, Sunil Moolchandani, Rita Bajaj, Shankar Sachad, Manoj Rathod and Mahesh Makwana etc were present.
