COMPLETE the arrangements being done for the maximum utilisation of health services available for corona infected people within fifteen days, said Divisional Commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat on Tuesday. The Divisional Commissioner made the above statement while addressing a meeting of health officials at his office. He directed all the officials to finish the necessary civil and electric works pending at COVID-19 Care Centre. Adding to what the present scenario of COVID-19 suggests, Kiyawat added that we have to be ready to make the most of our potential within fifteen days.
He directed Joint Commissioner (Development) Anil Kumar Dwivedi to co-ordinate with the Health Department, Public Works Department and with other departments and joint visits must be made at the proposed construction sites. Prioritise the tasks and set deadlines, use old and mendable furniture and try to finish all of this within 15 days, the Divisional Commissioner added. Kiyawat also asked to take strict measured to control the increasing coronavirus cases in the State capital. Health Department should make maximum efficient management of available resources, Kiyawat said.
It was informed in the meeting that 100 beds are booked for coronavirus patients at Hamidia Hospital and 420 more beds would be made. Dean of GMC Dr Arun Shrivastava, joint Commissioner Anil Dwivedi, Professor, Orthopaedics, Dr Ashish Gohiya and other officials were present.
