Staff Reporter :
Bungalow politics has started to brew up in State capital. It is learnt that Government has given notice to former ministers, including Tarun Bhanot, to vacate their bungalows allotted to them by previous Congress government. Buzz is also that even former Home Minister Dr Govind Singh has also received notice to vacate his government residence. It is also learnt that notice to vacate bungalow has been also given to former PWD Minister Sajjan Singh Verma, former Law Minister P C Sharma, ex-Sports Minister Jitu Patwari, ex-Panchayat Minister Kamleshwar Patel, ex-Minister Jaivardhan Singh etc.
If sources are to be believed then bungalow of Tarun Bhanot has been sealed. Congress has criticised State Government’s decision to ask former ministers to vacate their bungalows. Congress leaders said that at the time of corona crisis, Government should rather concentrate on controlling corona disease, bungalow politics could be done later.
Registering strong objection, Congress Spokesman Durgesh Sharma told that BJP government has given notice to those Congress leaders who were minister in previous Kamal Nath Government. He said that this action of Government at the time of corona crisis is not justified.
