TWO goons took away a scooterette worth Rs 25,000 from a teenage boy at gun-point in Sakkardara area on Wednesday. A resident of Lane No. 1, Yaseen Plot, Mohammad Jakir Mohammad Shahid (17) was going to the market to buy fruits on his Honda Activa (MH-49/BF-9465) around 4.30 pm. Two goons -- Raja Ashraf Khan Aslam Khan and Ramzan Aslam Khan -- accosted him.
They picked up a quarrel with him over an old issue. One of the two goons took out a pistol. By pointing the gun at Mohammad Jakir, they took away his vehicle. Sakkardara Police launched a search for the two goons after registering a case under Sections 392 an 34 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 3/25 of the Arms Act, against them.
