High Court of Chhattisgarh has allowed only 50 per cent staff below the rank of Section Officer to work on working days in High Court. An order in this regard has been issued by Registrar General of High Court Neelam Chand Sankhla.
According to the order, all the officers in the rank of Section Officer and above and its equivalent officers should be present in the office daily on working days. The remaining staff below Section Officer, only 50% of the staff posted in the section should be present in the office on working days on rotation basis. The presence of staff is to be ensured by the Section In-charge. Section In-charge shall ensure that the social distancing be maintained between the staff present in the Section and also ensure their masking and sanitising properly. No officer or employee will be permitted to leave headquarter without the permission of the Registrar General of High Court. Violation of the same will invite disciplinary action.
Apart from this, movement outside the headquarters will also not be permissible. The officers and employees coming from outside the district should keep themselves home quarantined for 14 days from the date of their return from outside and they should send leave application for the same by e-mail only, which would be adjusted against their available leave.
The officers and employees who return from outside districts after attending specific official work should get themselves examined medically and, if advised, should home quarantine themselves for 14 days from the date of their return from outside. The Court Officer has been directed to look after proper sanitisation, thermal screening, masks etc throughout the premises personally and through CCTV cameras also.
For supervising the compliance of proper sanitisation, thermal screening, maintenance of norms of social distancing, masks, etc throughout the premises, D P Singh, Joint Registrar (M); Pooran Singh Thakur, Additional Registrar (M); Kumar Animesh and Ashesh Shrivastava, both Deputy Registrars have been deputed with a direction to supervise on daily basis and report to Registrar (Vigilance), Registrar (1 & E), Registrar (S & A Cell) and Additional Registrar (Administration) respectively.
These Registrars/Additional Registrar shall thereupon report to the Registrar General on the matter. Every individual has been asked to fill up declaration form whether he/she had been out of District/State during complete lock-down period, the order added.
