Part of Bajeriya in Central Nagpur was put under containment zone by the civic authorities following emergence of one more COVID-19 positive patient on Friday. Municipal Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe issued a notification on Friday thereby putting curbs on movement of people in the area. The limits of the area is in an around Nageshwar Temple in Mahal part of Gandhibagh Zone no. 6. As per the limits to North East-upto Ganesh Temple, to North West-Nannumal building, to South West-Shitalamata Temple and to South East-Empress Mill Wall.
Civic officials put up barricades and police pickets were in place in all the four directions to strictly enforce regulated entry and exit. Only movement of essential goods and men engaged in allied activities is permitted while majority of the citizens of the area will have to stay inside the continament zone.
