As a social responsibility in view of spead of coronavirus pandemic, Rahul Patil, (IFS), Director of Bamboo Research & Training Centre (BRTC), Chandrapur and his wife Tejaswini Salunke deposited Rs one lakh as marraige amount to CM Relief Fund on Saturday as they confirmed that their wedding could not be solemnised during lockdown period. Patil hails from Sangli and his marriage was finalised with Tejaswini from Karad in Satara district well before implementation of lockdown. Their engagement was also performed with great enthusiasm while wedding date was finalised as May 2.
 
Tejaswini has completed MBA course and looks after event management business at mumbai. The Centre announced lockdown and maintaining social distancing. Many marraige parties suffered due to coronavirus while some persons solemenised weddings in a simple way only in presence of less than 20 guests. This couple also distributed 700 litres of sanitiser and 7000 masks to the people on behalf of Swarajya Foundation, Satara, as well as Rs one lakh to the CM’s Relief Fund.
