Though Sunday went without registering a single corona positive, Monday came with nine positive patients. All were under quarantine having close contacts either with Mominpura, Shantinagar or Satranjipura. With this nine positive, the total of Nagpur crossed the 150 mark. Out of total nine positive, six are female including two girl babies of 5 months and 6 months old. The 40 year old male and 30 year old female were under quarantine. Their throat swab samples were examined at the laboratory at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH).
Both are the residents of Dobinagar, Mominpura. The five positive including 7 year male of Yashodhara Nagar, 29 year female, 6 months female, 5 months female, 30 year female all are of Satranjipura tested positive at the laboratory at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). All of them have no travel history and no close contacts with any positive or suspect. Two more female tested positive whose samples were sent for the examination at the laboratory at NEERI, that is doing fantastic job along with the other medical laboratories. There is a good news also.
Four persons were discharged from IGGMCH. They include 11 year old female of Satranjipura, 13 year old male, a resident of Shantinagar, 15 year old male of Kundanlal Gupta Nagar and 40 year old male, a resident of Shantinagar. Meanwhile the total number of positive reached 154 excluding the five--three from Jabalpur and two from Chandrapur. Total number of people got recovered till yesterday were 46 with 24 from GMCH and 20 from IGGMCH. With recovery of four on Monday the number of recovered reached at 50. Tally of IGGMCH stood at 26 and GMCH’s at 24.
