Tanishq resumes operations in city with ‘Gold Standard’ safety measures

Tanishq, India’s largest and most trusted jewellery brand from the house of Tata has announced reopening of both of the stores in Nagpur. The stores are located at No7, Kingsway, near Provincial Automobile Ltd, opposite SBI, Station Road (Ph: 0712-6659200-218) and at Shraddhanand Peth Square, South Ambazari Road (Ph: 0712-6669300-333). The stores are operational from 9 am to 5 pm daily. Tanishq will continue to strictly comply with all Government rules while reopening and running operations at the store. Tanishq has introduced ‘Gold Standard’ Safety measures that reiterates company’s commitment to safety and well-being of customers and its employees at the store.

It covers all staff and customer touch points, entailing numerous safety measures, including contactless shopping and strict social distancing at all times. Sharing his views on reopening of stores, Vijesh Rajan, Head – Retail, Tanishq said, “Wellbeing of our customers and employees is our utmost priority as we reopen our stores in a reimagined world. We are resuming operations carefully and cautiously, in a safe, hygienic, reassuring yet welcoming manner. The Gold Standard on safety and hygiene has been rolled out to keep customers and employees safe throughout the time they spend at the store. A lot of detailing has gone into processes, checks and training of our employees.”

He said, “We want to ensure we are 100% prepared to manage the store, staff and customers and hence all the stores need to go through an eligibility test prior to reopening. Stores operations have been resumed only after obtaining permissions from local authorities. We have sanitised the stores and have undertaken a formal safety preparedness assessment.
