RMC Public Works Department Chairman Gyanesh Sharma on Tuesday convened a meeting of Departmental Advisory Committee members to collect their opinions on improving the working. The Advisory Committee members as Corporator Sunil Chandrakar, Amitesh Bhardwaj, Kunwar Rajyant Singh Dhurw, Prakash Jagat, Maniram Sahu, Mannu Yadav and Superintendent Engineer B R Agrawal, Assistant Engineer Rajesh Rathore and Sanjay Verma marked their presence at the meeting.
PWD Chairman Sharma greeted the Advisory Committee members and requested them to propose suggestions in the interest of city. On this request, Corporator Maniram Sahu suggested using black stone along with base gravels in the construction of drains. He also gave suggestions for quality improvement. Corporator Kunwar Rajyant Singh Dhruw gave opinion on drain construction for discharge of effluent. Corporator Prakash Jagat proposed suggestions water discharging from Kota Stadium area. Corporator Amitesh Bhardwaj also talked about discharging system for effluent from the Capital city.
Chairman Gyanesh Sharma asked Corporators to inspect the quality of construction works in the wards and give written suggestions on the interest of Raipur Municipal Corporation. He will inspect the quality of works with the officials and bring in to effect the suggestions. Gyanesh Sharma assured that he will take the suggestions of Committee members seriously and try to implement them for improvement of development projects in the City.
