Petrol price goes up again, touches Rs 80.69/L mark

After crossing the psychological mark of Rs 80 per liter mark on Monday, petrol prices have once again witnessed a hike on Tuesday. Petrol was sold at a price of Rs 80.69 per liter in the city on Tuesday which is 46 paise up from its price on the previous day. Similarly, diesel price has also gone up by 67 paise. Diesel price jumped from Rs 70.12 per liter to Rs 70.79 per liter over the same period.
For the past few days, fuel prices are going up. As the country is struggling to return to normalcy with the authorities easing lockdown restrictions, rising fuel prices appears to be giving tough times to consumers.
