Madhya Pradesh Energy Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Dubey carried out inspection of Madhya Pradesh State Load Dispatch Centre on Thursday. He took information regarding functioning of the Centre. He learnt about functioning on case of natural calamity like high velocity winds, storm and issues in maintenance of power transmission system, fluctuations due to sudden rains, air and solar energy production.
He was also apprised about technological sides of the dispatch centre in managing these immediate changes. Dubey instructed on maintaining proper forecasting of solar and wind energy to ensure quality load supply in State keeping in view the availability and demand of power.
For quality functioning of load dispatch, he emphasised on coordination between Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission, Generating and Distribution Companies with Load Dispatch Centre. Chief Engineer of State Load Dispatch Centre K K Prabhaker apprised the Principal Secretary about functioning in detail. On the occasion, Power Transmission Company, Managing Director, PAR Bende, Generating Company, MD, Manjeet Singh, Energy Department OSD, S K Sharma, Energy Department Deputy Secretary, Neeraj Agrawal, Power Management Company, Managing Director, Rajive Kesker, State Load Dispatch Centre, Additional Chief Engineer, R A Sharma, Superintendent Engineer, S S Patel and other engineers were present.
