Naik Talao-Bairagipura area sealed owing to spike in COVID-19 cases

Emergence of new cases of novel coronavirus has led to increase in containment area of Naik Talao-Bairagipura, the latest hotspot of city vis-a-vis COVID-19. The area coming under Prabhag-20 in Mangalwari Zone-10 is fast slipping into a worry for the civic officials as new cases are emerging in lot of 50s and 100s. Along with Naik Talao, two more areas were added in containment list.
The new boundaries of Naik Talao-Bairagipura now includes to North East-Pardikar's house, East-Narayan Kumbhare's house-Vishweshwar Likhar's house, Tayde's house and Giramji Saoji's house, South East-NMC garden, South West-Kesarwani's house, West-Jitendra Ninawe's house, West-Morbaswachi Well, North West-Deorao Khatik's house. Compared to previous area the new boundaries demarcated by civic authorities are indicative of worrying situation in the area. Ever since first case of COVID-19 surfaced in city, this is the first time Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) had to increase a containment area.
Till now after an area where positive cases emerged the normal trend has been scaling down the containment area as there was decline in the curve as no new cases emerged. However, in case of Naik Talao the situation is on reverse and COVID-19 curve is rising quite fast. Martin Nagar: This new area in Prabhag-1, Martin Nagar in Mangalwari Zone-10 was sealed on Thursday.
The area demarcated includes to South East-Bhawan Lanjewar's house, North West-Morris Siril’s house, North-Pintu Kirana store, North East-Ganesh Sahare's house. Another area in Mangalwari Zone-10 that is sealed is that of Manmode Layout, Zingabai Takli in Prabhag-11. The boundary of demarcated zone includes to South east-Sunshine building, South West-Rajendra Nithane's house, North West-Rohan Khandelwal building, North East-Shankar Rathod’s house.
