When the locusts started camping, team sprayed insecticide with loud noise continuously for four hours. After this four hour campaign, lakhs of locusts were killed and fee of them flew away.
This was the second attack of locusts in Bhopal. In first attempt the locusts were diverted at outskirt of city. He said locust eat leaves, so they attack trees and crops. Laharpur is close to forest area and there are many nurseries with herbs and medicinal plants. This was the reason locusts attracted there.
