Active corona cases cross 400-mark in CG

47 new corona positive cases detected
Forty seven new corona positive patients were found in State on Monday, with this, the active cases in State are 427 and total tally reached 549 and seven new patients were discharged. As per information, 11 new cases were found in Bilaspur, 9 in Jashpur, 5 each from Bemetara and Raigarh, 4 cases from Korba, three each in Raipur and Dhamtari, two cases in Mungeli and one each in Gariyaband, Balod and Jagdalpur.
This also includes the two cases detected in SRL lab, of which, one is from Raipur and another is from Bilaspur. Out of seven discharged patients, two were from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur the patients belong to Dhamtari and Mungeli districts.
Three patients discharged from dedicated Covid Hospital, Bilaspur were from Bilaspur. One patient was discharged from Medical College Hospital, Ambikapur and the patient was from Sarguja. One patient of Mungeli was discharged from Dedicated Covid Hospital, Mana. The cases of corona patients have seen a spike in State as the number of positive cases is increasing day-by-day. The number of discharged cases in State is 121 and one death has been recorded. On the other hand, India has now become the world’s seventh worst-hit country in terms of Corona virus cases with its tally of 1,82,143, according to the World Health Organisation’s COVID-19 tracker.
