COVID-19: Recovery cases more than active ones in distt

If one compares the recovery of corona positive patients with the number of active cases, one would be astonished to know the recovery is more than the number of patients under treatment currently. In Nagpur district till now 1,148 have become corona-free while 282 COVID-19 positive cases are under treatment at various hospitals for the treatment. It means that administration under the leadership of Ravindra Thakare, District Collector, has succeeded in restricting the number of patients. The role of doctors and all the frontline healthworkers can’t be forgotten.
The doctors of Medical education and public health are working day and night to deliver the results. The good number of recovery is the outcome of their zeal to cure the patients. The district has registered 1,473 novel coronavirus positive patients till now with 1,148 have been recovered. Out of 282 active cases, 156 are under treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), 86 at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH), 18 at Military Hospital, Kamptee and 22 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). District has lost 25 persons because of this dreaded virus of which 10 are from outside of Nagpur. Administration under the guidance of Ravindra Thakare is conducting the search campaign and til now 263 persons have been identified who were put under home quarantine. 
Nagpur registers 21 COVID-19 positive cases, 34 recover About 34 novel coronavirus positive persons became corona-free in Nagpur on Monday. With these the total number of recovered reached 934. The city registered 21 novel coronavirus positive cases taking the cumulative number to 1,439. Out of 21, maximum 10 samples were examined at the laboratory of National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), 7 came positive at the virology laboratory of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH), 3 in molecular diagnostic laboratory of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), one in Government Medical College and Hospital. Out of 34 recovered, 1 is from AIIMS, 23 from Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and 10 were under treatment at IGGMCH. The recovery of IGGMCH reached 478, Government Medical College and Hospital 346 while AIIMS figure stands at 83.
