ICSE and ISC _1 &nbs

Poverty is no bar to prove talent! Lal Bahadur Shastri, our Ex-PM and APJ Abdul Kalam, our Ex-President, are the best examples.

The results were out for ICSE and ISC and many children proved their mettle and came out with flying colours. Among the talented and meritorious students, there was a girl from Rajkumar College, Raipur. Her name was Soumya Samridhi Soni. Her father Dharmendra Soni is the Garden-in-Charge of Rajkumar College, Raipur.

Soumya’s maternal uncle, who is in Administrative Service, is an inspiration for her. She has been a student of RKC from KG II to Class 12. All through her schooling, she has been a talented student and finally achieved success in the ISC boards with 91.25 per cent in Science(Bio) stream.

Talking to The Hitavada, Samridhi said that her main aim is to crack civil services examination. She has also filled application for NEET examination. “Being a Biology student, I thought I should go for NEET. If not succeeded in the NEET, I would pursue BSc and prepare for Civil Services. My ultimate aim is to become an IAS and IFS to bring laurel to her family, alma mater and the state of Chhattisgarh,” she told this newspaper.

On the flip side, she also wants to help the poor and downtrodden people in the society, who may need her help in any way possible. At present she wants to study in the Government Science College, Raipur to complete her Graduation in Science and to prepare for Civil Service side by side. All teachers, Principal, Vice Principal and family wish her more such success in her future endeavours.

She says that her constant effort to improve herself despite all hurdles and obstacles has taken through the floodgates of success.
