Major decisions taken in the interest of poor in first Cabinet meeting after distribution of departments 
 
In the first Cabinet meeting held at Mantralaya after expansion on Monday under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, after the distribution of departments among the members of the Cabinet, major decisions were taken in the interest of poor. Approval was given by the Cabinet to the Madhya Pradesh Moneylenders Amendment Bill and Scheduled Tribe Loan Waiver Bill-2020. Now, further proceedings will be taken in this matter.
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Tribe Loan Waiver Bill is being introduced to free tribals from the clutches of moneylenders, under this a provision is being made to waive all loans taken till August 15, 2020 by the members of the tribal community, dwelling in the notified areas of the State.
 
Along with this, Madhya Pradesh Moneylenders (Amendment Bill-2020) is also being introduced to free other sections of the society from the grip of the moneylenders. All Cabinet members and officers were present at the meeting.
