STREEDHAN- SBI Foundation is a fund raised by lady employees of the State Bank of India (SBI) and the spouses of male employees of the bank. The fund is recently used for the noble cause. Looking at the COVID-19 pandemic, which has created unprecedented problems to every society, the fund creators have decided to extend support to the hospitals taking care of the corona patients. Streedhan-SBI Foundation came out with a noble gesture, which was initiated by V Chandra Sekhar, DGM Nagpur.
The staff gave a helping hand to the health care workers by way of donating ventilators to Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) and Government Medical College, (GMC). The foundation donated one ventilator each to IGMC and GMC under the guidance of V Chandra Sekhar, Senior Officer of SBI, DGM Nagpur. The ventilators were handed over to Dr Ajay Kevelia, Dean of IGMC and Dr Avinash Gawande, Medical Superintendent of GMC by V Chandra Sekhar, says a press release issued here.
