WITH almost all the results of various educational boards been declared, everybody was eagarly waiting for the announcement of results of Secondary School Certificate examinations (SSC). Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced on Tuesday that the SSC results would be declared on Wednesday at 1 pm. Results will be displayed on official website of the Board from 1 pm. Students will get their marksheets later, the date would be declared with the announcement of result. MSBSHSE conducts HSC and SSC examinations in Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Nagpur, Amravati, Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nashik, Kolhapur, Latur, and Ratnagiri.
The Board conducts examinations twice a year. A total of 1,87,797 students appeared at 692 centres in Nagpur division. State Board had deployed over 50 flying squads to avoid incidents of unfair means. Some squads are specially deployed at the centres considered as most sensitive ones. This year, the number of students appearing in examination were more by 18,919. The number of centres, too, were increased by 224. In Nagpur district, 69,607 students had registered. In Bhandara, the number of students were 20,080, Chandrapur 34,287, Gondia 23,419,Wardha 19,915, Gadchiroli 17, 489. Out of total 1,87,797, there were 99,736 boys and 87,049 girl students.
This year, there were 12 transgenders also registered from Nagpur division. This year, Government has started allotting 20 internal marks, the system was stopped earlier. Students may experience rise in marks. SSC examination was conducted without any hurdle except Geography paper which was not held. The marks were added evaluating the performance of students in other subjects. Students willing to go for retotaling, photocopies of answersheets, revaluation and migration will have to apply to respective Divisional Boards through ‘http://verification.mh-ssc.ac.in’.
The days have been fixed to procure the certificates. For retotalling, students have to apply between Thursday ( July 30) and Saturday (August 8); for answersheet photocopies interested are supposed to submit application between Thursday (July 30) andTuesday (August 18). The fees can be deposited on-line through debit card, credit card, UPI, net banking. To get photocopies of answersheets, students have to submit application on-line on the official website of Board during five working days. They have to deposit the prescribed fees. Students interested to have revaluation should contact Divisional Board, concerned. The Board had started Class Improvement Scheme in the year 2008.
This scheme was started with a purpose to give students a chance to improve their grades. Students who appeared in Summer-2020 will have a chance of appearing in two consecutive examinations.
Results to be available on-line
STUDENTS who wish to check the results online on Saturday may log on to different websites. Students will need to enter their roll numbers and date of birth to check the results.
