33 more test positive for coronavirus on Thursday
 
 
After the spike of 73 coronavirus positive cases on Wednesday, city had a good news to cheer about on Thursday. The city crossed 1,000 mark in recovery. On Thursday, 10 coronavirus positive patients had recovered from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH). With these the cumulative number of recovered cases reached 1002. City crossed 900 mark on June 28 and within four-days the recovery cases crossed 1,000 mark. All the ten persons recovered were under treatment at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH).

The recovery of IGGMCH reached 511, Government Medical College and Hospital 368 while AIIMS figure stands at 96. Recovery of first 100 came nearly after a month of discharge of first patient. The number reached 200 within next three days while it took five days to reach 300 mark. After passage of 14 days, the recovery number crossed 400 mark.
 
After the passage of 9 days of touching 400 mark the recovery touched 500 and within next four days the number of discharged patients crossed 600 mark. Surprisingly, within the next two days, it crossed the 700 mark which was with much faster rate. The recovery number of corona positive is speedily following the number of positive cases. Last 100 of positive cases came on June 24 while last 100 of recovery came the next day on June 25. On June 26 the positive cases crossed 1,400 and recovery number too touched 900. The recovery number crossed 800 (on June 25) three days ago after the passage of four days of the number touched 700 mark. On June 21, the number of recovered crossed 700 mark.
 
33 more test positive for COVID-19  First it was Satranjipura, then Mominpura, followed by Naik Talao the areas witnessed spurt in coronavirus positive cases. Now, Central Jail has occupied the space in the list of areas giving maximum positive cases. In last three days, 66 tested positive from Central Jail alone. On Thursday, 33 tested positive out of which 12 again are from Central Jail. With these the total number reached 1,576. After Naik Talao area that gave maximum over 300 coronavirus positive cases in Nagpur, now the new area identified is Central Jail. According to health officials, some more cases are expected from the Prison. Out of 33 cases, 12 samples belong to persons in Central Jail were examined at the laboratory of National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI). Some samples examined at virology laboratory of IGGMCH, some at Government Medical College and Hospital, some at private laboratories, some samples were examined at the laboratory at Centre for Zonosis, Nagpur Veterinary College, affiliated to Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (MAFSU).
