A Woman Police Inspector (WPI) attached to Special Branch (SB) of Nagpur Police tested positive for COVID-19 infection. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) SB Shweta Khedkar informed ‘The Hitavada’ that the WPI was deployed at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport Nagpur for issuing travel passes to international travellers arriving in the city.
 
She was tested positive on Friday after which 12 policemen from SB were home quarantine as precautionary measures, the DCP said. “We are taking all precautions to contain spread of the virus in department,” DCP Shweta Khedkar said.
