Dr Jitendra Ramgaonkar becomes Field Director of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve
 
State Government, on Monday, promoted and transferred 53 IFS officers in Maharashtra Forest Department. The department’s headquarters here received the copy of the order, promoting 20 officers and transferring 33 officers. Government has also effected transfers of six Divisional Forest Officers, including three from Vidarbha. Vivek Khandekar, Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF), Pune, has been promoted as Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and posted at Pune.
 
The Government has also transferred three and promoted five CCFs including four from Vidarbha. They are: A N Khadse, Chandrapur, to Nagpur as Chief General Manager (Medicinal Plants), FDCM; S Ramarao, Chandrapur, to Yavatmal on same post; N R Praveen, Field Director, Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), Chandrapur, has been shifted as CCF (Regional), Chandrapur; and R K Wankhede from Yavatmal has been promoted and posted as CCF to Pune. A S Kalaskar, CCF, Dhule has been shifted as Member-Secretary, Maharshtra State Zoo Authority, Nagpur.
 
Dr Jitendra Ramgaonkar, Deputy Conservator of Forest, Thane has been promoted as Conservator of Forest and made Field Director, TATR, Chandrapur. N S Ladkat, Deputy Director (Core), TATR, has been promoted as Conservator of Forest and posted at Pune in Working Plan. The other officers from Vidarbha, who are promoted, include: S Yuvraj, Gondia; Dr Kishor Mankar, Nagpur; S N Mali, Buldana; V N Hinge, Ballarshah; and Gajendra Narwane, Amravati.
 
The following officers from Vidarbha who are transferred include: Rahul Patil, Chandrapur; Gajendra Hirey, Central Chanda; Bhanudas Pingle, Yavatmal; Vivek Hoshing, Bhandara; Ginni Singh, Nagpur; Arvind Mundhe, Pusad; Avinash Kumar, Paratwada; A L Sonkusre, Chandrapur; K M Abharna, Pandharkawda; K W Dhamge, Nagpur; Kulraj Singh, Brahmapuri; S B Bhalavi, Nagpur; Uttam Savant, Gondia; and Nandkishor Kale, Gorewada, Nagpur. N R Praveen will hold additional charge as Director, Forest Academy, Chandrapur, till further order. Similalry, the Government transferred six Divisional Forest Officers including three from Vidarbha. They are: Ram Shankar Dhotre from Chandrapur to Gadchiroli; P B Panchbhai, Divisional Forest Officer, who was at Pandharkawda and now on training to Gorewada; and Vishal Mali from Amravati to Kolhapur.
