A joint team of Food Safety Department and Bhopal Crime Branch have found 155 bottles of a non-alcoholic Chinese drink without expiry dates on them from a trader in Idgah Hills in Bhopal. Samples of these bottled drinks have been sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory by the department officials, reports of which are expected to come within two weeks. The Crime Branch received a tip off that Budweiser beer bottles of expired dates are ready to be sold in the market and the team swung into action and raided the godown at 6 pm with food safety officers. During the raid it was found that the drink contains only 0.5% of alcohol and the Police Department handed the case to FDA.
