Dr Khemka’s Bharat Shipping Agency gets AEO status

The Directorate of International Customs has recently granted Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status to the city-based Bharat Shipping Agency. The agency, specialized in Customs Clearing (Import & Export) and International Freight Forwarding both air and sea consignments, is the first to get the status in Vidarbha region.
The Bharat Shipping Agency is headed by Dr Prakash Khemka (Proprietor), who is a Law Graduate, holds a Master’s degree in Economics and has done Ph.D. Dr Khemka is also a member of Nagpur Custom House Agent’s Association and member of Executive Council of FFFAI for a number of years.
The Authorised Economic Operator certificate will let the agency avail many benefits. There may be other commercial benefits too, informs a press release issued here. These may include reduced incidences of theft or losses in transit, improved security and communication with the partners in the supply chain and improved customer confidence.
