WCR starts first Sanitisation Stall at Jabalpur Rly Station

In view of severity due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Railway administration has started a sanitiser stall. Reportedly Jabalpur Railway station is the first station under the ambit of WCR to start a ‘COVID Sanitiser Stall’ at platform number 6. The start of the stall would prove to be of immense help in containing spread of coronavirus infection. At the stall, hand sanitisers, face masks, bag sanitisers, disposable bed sheets and PPE kits is are being sold at reasonable rates. The Sanitiser Stall is operational under the direction of DRM Sanjay Biswas and Senior DCM Vishwa Ranjan and was inaugurated by Sr DCM (Coaching) Manoj Kumar Gupta
 
According to information, Jabalpur, the zonal headquarters of WCR’s Jabalpur division, is the first station in WCR to start the COVID Sanitiser Stall. The stall was made operational at platform number 6. This move at Jabalpur has made passengers happy as now they can start their journey by procuring essential goods to contain COVID-19. Disposable bed sheets comprising of two bed sheets, one pillow cover, napkin, one face mask (all disposable) are available for Rs 60. Hand sanitiser and face mask would be available at Rs 10 and Rs 5 respectively. Passengers coming from outstation need not worry as the entire luggage bag can be sanitised for Rs 10. Depending on the response to this stall, the railway administration will start COVID Sanitiser Stalls at other stations in Jabalpur division.
