You Change The Way You Lo

Although we consider criticism to be negative, it can actually be positive in helping us improve ourselves. In fact, no one enjoys criticism. We would like to believe that whatever we do is right even though we know that it is not true. When we do make mistakes, we would rather pretend that no one has noticed. But people do notice and sometimes they point out our errors. It may be their intention that we don’t repeat those mistakes in future. No matter how people try but criticism hurts. It might take some of the sting out of criticism if we take it as a positive input.

If we heard the same criticism more than once, it is necessary to pay close attention. If many people make similar criticism, there is probably a valid problem. First, consider the source of criticism. If the person criticising for some reason or without reason? Second, if we relax and think about it, we may learn something or nothing. Remember, that even good people choose wrong actions. Thirdly, try to learn something. There may be a valuable lesson in the criticism.

Think it over later when we are more objective. If the criticism is justified, try to improve and do it in a better way next time. Being at the top of the Evolution Scale, we are able to survey the terrain below. Remember, that it is lonely at the top. We can’t build a house and stay on Mount Everest. We have to come down sometimes and reclaim the lost qualities and climb-up again for another conquest. However, we should live as human beings and not stray around in unfamiliar territories. We should live as ordinary people but use our talent and potent to raise ourselves as we proceed along building life. A Psychologist once said: “We feel that we are losers even when we are winners.

The mere fact that we live, breathe, digest food and are capable of assisting those in distress is itself a miracle.” Success and happiness go hand in hand. Success is getting what we want and happiness is wanting what you get. Enroute, while living we may fail but failure is the highway to success. If we want to s u c c e e d , double the failure rate. W i n n e r s don’t do different things but they do things differently. Success does not mean absence of failure. Calvin Coolidge, Ex American president once said: “Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.

Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the World is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve problems of the Human race.” Most people are quitters. It is wonderful news for those who decide to be successful. The competition becomes less and less and the man who persists will be ahead of the multitude. Our teacher used to say: “You can disagree without being disagreeable.

You can stand-up for yourself without being bitter and unpleasant. If you get treated the way you teach, others will treat you the same way and there is nothing to feel bad or sad about it! Why do we love babies; it is merely because they are open, innocent and vulnerable. As they open their arms and look into our eyes, they say to us, Love me, I need you and I can’t make it all alone”. Bertrand Russel said once “No man can be happy unless he feels that his life is in some way important.

The real fact is that some people always think of problems when they should be thinking of solutions. If they can find the solutions then either give it up or alter your search pattern. However much beauty and magic, you have enjoyed, you can have more from today. Everyday is a day on lease. Every day is a festival day for celebration if you choose to do so. So why not relax and enjoy during the little time that is left?” Half the World consists of people who want something to say but cannot, the other half who have nothing to say keep on saying it. Remember, that every man is an Architect and builder.

If that is true, let us build with commitment and leave it to the future to judge its worthiness and utility! Man is Dwija that is twice-born. The first is Genetic Birth and the second is out of himself. If we develop ten per cent improvement, we demonstrate hundred per cent e x c e l - lence. For e x a m p l e our vocabulary consists usually of 4 0 0 - 5 0 0 words. If we can raise it to 3500 words we can become a speaker. If we can raise it to 10000 words we become an orator. It is that simple.
