TAKING a serious note on exploitation of ex-servicemen posted as private security guards, office-bearers and members of Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad staged a demonstration against private security contractors and raised demand of re-deployment of expelled private security guards, on Saturday. A large number of ex-servicemen aggressively participated in the demonstration and raised demand to stop corrupt practices in appointing ex-servicemen as private security guards at Gun Carriage Factory (GCF) Jabalpur.
It may be noted that the office-bearers and members of Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad had submitted a memorandum to Superintendent of Police Siddharth Bahuguna and extended appeal to make justice with ex-servicemen and check corrupt practices to appoint ex-servicemen as private security guards at GCF.
Addressing the demonstration, Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad’s Rajnish Singh charged that even after rendering their selfless services of the nation, ex-servicemen becoming victim of corruption by private security contractors. Security agency owners are demanding bribe to appoint ex-servicemen and replace them in case of refusing bribe or commission.
On the occasion, it was informed that the unity of ex-servicemen proved that now they will no longer repress their demands and strongly raise their demands before the competent authorities to get justice.
