Bhopal Rly loads consumer goods from Mandideep

Working towards business development, Bhopal Railway loaded 580 tone of liquid soap at Mandideep for further transportation to Secunderabad. Bhopal Railway is working towards goods trains for better transportation of essential commodities in India. Railway officials are contacting the traders and businessmen for maximum usage of rail transportation for goods. Bhopal Railway is making attractive schemes to lure the traders for goods train.

The initiative of Bhopal Railway was also lauded by the minister Piyush Goyal. In his tweet Minister Goyal said, “consumer goods are being loaded for the first time at Mandideep goods shed in Madhya Pradesh for transportation to Sanath Nagar in Telangana. Railway is working round the clock to identify and start new dreams of traffic.” Bhopal Railway has also formed a business development group including operation, commercial, accounts, mechanical, engineering and electricity department under guidance of Additional Divisional Railway Manager (administrative services) Ashok Kumar and Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Uday Borwanker.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) Vijay Prakash told ‘The Hitavada’ that main aim of forming business development group is to involve more businessmen, industrialists, commercial organisations, factories, production companies and marketing heads for maximum loading of goods in trains for further transportation. This would help to boost railway transportation with maximum goods loading. He said that business development group will make efforts to bring new proposals for goods loading and easy transportation throughout country.
