Naresh Umrao Badole, Assistant Sub-Inspector/General Duty, of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), attained martyrdom in a terrorist attack at Chadoora in Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday. His body was flown to the city on Thursday late night. The funeral will be performed with State honours on Friday morning. Badole was a resident of Plot No 2, Pandurang Nagar, Hingna. Born on April 25, 1971, he had joined CRPF in 1989. He is survived by his wife Pramila, daughters Mrunal and Pradnya. He was posted with 117 Battalion, at Wazirbagh in Srinagar.
 
As per the details with the administration, Badole’s mortal remains were flown from Srinagar to Delhi, and from Delhi to Nagpur. The mortal remains of the martyr reached Nagpur airport on Thursday late night. From the airport, his mortal remains were moved by road to his residence.
 
The funeral will be performed with State honours at 8 am on Friday, at Digdoh ghat near CRPF camp in Hingna, informed Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer. The family members of the martyr were in a state of shock. They were not in a position to speak. The neighbours had gathered outside the house of Badole and were consoling the grieving family.
