Ban on visitor’s entry to Mantralaya lifted after four months

After a gap of over four months, ban on entry of visitors to Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur in Atal Nagar has been lifted by General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Chhattisgarh. In this regard, GAD Secretary D D Singh has issued an order on Wednesday. According to the order, the persons holding permanent or temporary pass issued by the Security office of the Mantralaya will be allowed for entry into Mantralaya. The persons, who want entry into the Mantralaya for official works, will be allowed only with the permission of the Departmental Secretary.
 
The daily passes will be issued by the Security office for visitors or common people, who want to meet officers or others for official purposes or personal works.
 
All the visitors have been asked to utilise sanitiser or face cover and follow the medical protocol while entering Mantralaya’s to contain the spread of coronavirus infections. If anyone is found without wearing face cover or violating norms at the Mantralaya, their passes will be cancelled immediately, the order added. Earlier, the GAD had imposed a ban on entry of visitors into the Mantralaya. Chhattisgarh State Gazetted Officers’ Association (CGSGOA) State President Kamal Verma had written a letter to Chief Secretary, demanding to allow the entry of gazetted officers posted at Indravati Bhawan into Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan for official works. After this demand, the GAD has issued this order.
