The life of Narendra Nath Maharaj is very inspiring. Born as Narendra Jagannath Chaudhari in 1937 to a well reputed and educated family in Akola, Narendra became Narendranath Maharaj with the blessings of Vyankatnath Maharaj.

 

“My father Jagannath Chaudhari was a renowned lawyer in Akola while uncle Ganpat Chaudhari was a teacher. My mother was very active worker of Congress in those days and she was instrumental in starting schools for children for the first time. I was an atheist, rational thinker and believing in Science since my childhood. I never believed in God or any religion or Adhyatma.

 

I used to tell my mother that instead of worshipping a stone as a God, you ask me what you need, I would give it to you,” he revealed. Narendra Nath Maharaj completed his B Com in 1958 from Nagpur University and completed Chartered Accountancy in 1963. He also completed M Com, LLB, Radio Engineering etc. In 1963 he got married to Kunda Tambe from Nagpur and his wife was Head of the Department of Economics. Maharaj said, “I came in contact with Vyankatnath Maharaj and I realised that there is a super power beyond this materialistic world. I realised the power of spiritual energy and its scientific nature. In 1963, I took initiation from Vyankatnath Maharaj and my spiritual journey started.” Maharaj established Navnath Shatipeeth and since last 22 years, this Shaktipeeth is promoting scientific spirituality.

 

He mentioned, “ With the grace of my Guru, I am following and promoting the science of Navnaths. I started Vedshala and with the help of ancient Vedic science, the Shaktipeeth is treating all worldly and spiritual problems.
