The vaccination staff at ‘C’-block of Trauma Centre in Shajapur was in awe when they saw a person arriving on skates to get himself jabbed. A frontline COVID-19 warrior Dr Sachin Nayak skated all the way from his home to the vaccination centre and get him vaccinated against the coronavirus. He wore the same T-shirt to the vaccination centre, which Indian bowler Yazuvendra Chahal also wore as to pay tribute to Dr Nayak for his relentless services amid the corona pandemic.
He was talk-of-the-town back in October 2020, when his efforts amid the pandemic were hailed by Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and leg break bowler Yazuvendra Chahal. Dr Nayak when failed to find a place to live in isolation, as no one would rent him room owing the fear of coronavirus, he began to live inside his car.
In a two-minute video uploaded on twitter, Chahal thanked Dr Nayak for everything he did and went through amid the corona pandemic. Dr Nayak told the Indian cricketer that how his family did not want him to work during the corona pandemic times. He also told that how hard it was for him to find a place to live as he could not pass on the virus to anybody. Also, no one was ready to rent him a single room, so car was the only option he was left with.
