‘Drive-In Cinema’ new attraction for movie buffs to be launched today

 

 

 

To give cine lovers a new experience of watching cinema live in open ground, MP Tourism’s first Muktakash Drive-In Cinema (Oper Air Theater) of Central India will be launched at 6 pm at Hotel Lake View Residency Complex, Shyamala Hills on Friday.

 

Protem Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Rameshwar Sharma, Madhya Pradesh Government, Tourism and Culture Department, Usha Singh Thakur, Minister, MP Government, Medical, Education and Gas Relief Department, Vishwas Kailash Sarang, will be present in the event. Drive-In Cinema will be launched with performance of patriotic inspired film ‘Uri-The Surgical Strike’ in dignified presence of Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, eminent Film Director Rajkumar Santoshi and public representatives of Bhopal. Managing Director of State Tourism Development Corporation S Vishwanathan told that in the drive-in cinema of Lake View Residency, movie lovers will be able to sit in a car and watch a film with family or friends. This is prepared in 90,000 square feet in the campus of Hotel Lake View Residency.

 

This drive-in cinema has special screen, high-tech sound installed. Vishwanathan further stated that this complex has a capacity of 100 vehicles, 100 cars can be parked in a show, a BRICS wall has been built on a 70’× 30’ RCC structure for a large screen in the campus and a projection room has also been built. In order to allow cinematographers to see best picture quality on projection screen, a 4K projector has been installed in the projection room, so that projection of best quality will be on the screen as well as 4 buffers of high quality sound and about 50 speakers installed in the campus.

 

Apart from 100 vehicles, around 100 people have been arranged to sit in this complex. As well as two gates have been built in the premises from which vehicles will be able to enter and exit. It is worth mentioning that in this free drive-in cinema two shows will be shown daily between 6 pm and 12.30 pm.
