A SwacHhta Pathshala was organised in the Gram Panchayat of Nipaniya Sukha, Phanda Development Block of Bhopal District. Notably, the ‘Nana ji Deshmukh National Gaurav Gram Sabha’ Award has been conferred on the village. Principal Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development, Umakant Umrao visited several villages of Janpad Panchayat, Phanda and took stock of the implementation of rural development schemes at the event. Umrao inspected the progressing Grable Road in Gram Panchayat Parvalia and the Segmentation Nadef under Swachh Bharat Mission and the stop dams constructed in Gram Panchayat, Jhirnia. Principal Secretary inspected the Percolation Tank and Community Sanitation Complex constructed in Nipania Sukha, the Gram Panchayat awarded by the Government of India. He also attended the Swacchata Pathshala in the chaupal built in the Gram Panchayat premises. He was welcomed by the women of the Self Help Groups and the Gram Panchayat staff.
Keeping in view the goals of Swachhta Survekshan Grameen-2021, a women’s special Swacchata Pathshala was organised as well. In order to achieve the objectives of the survey, Pathshalas were also organised for the children, elderly and religious leaders of the village through women. Through trained women, the level of awareness will increase in the villages and by achieving the goals of solid and liquid waste management through public participation, zero waste will be made in the villages, as well as the continuity of garbage collection will be maintained. CEO District Panchayat, Bhopal, Vikas Mishra, Janpad Panchayat Phanda CEO, Executive Engineer, Rural Engineering Service Bhopal, Additional Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Bhopal, District Coordinator, Swachh Bharat Mission Project Officer, District Panchayat Aajeevika Mission Sarpanch and a large number of women, villagers and public representatives were present prominently on the occasion.
