The Central Star Mercedes Benz Car Rally on Sunday from its showroom in MIDC to its Alagondi Mining site was a great success. A number of Mercedes Benz owners and prospects participated in it. The rally was flagged off from Central Star showroom by Mrs and Mr K S Cheema. The guests were treated to one of its kind well organised and disciplined driving experiences. More than 20 Mercedes Benz cars were driven in a single lane at a constant speed all the way for 60+ kms. The guests were surprised and mesmerized when they reached the destination as the site was so green with beautifully manicured parks, organic vegetables farm and beautifully grown organic fruit orchards. To add to their pleasure was a huge lake brimming with lush blue clean water. It was beyond anyone’s imagination that a mining site can be so beautifully maintained. All the participants were also treated to a beautiful band for as long as they stayed there and sumptuous Lunch. Cheema’s family passion for greenery, professionalism and management were at its display for all to see.

 

The site is owned by K S Metals & Mining Industry, one of the group companies of K S Cheema Group, which produces all kind of building and infrastructure raw material like crushed sand and metal of all sizes starting from 10mm to 100mm. This was a second Mercedes Benz car rally in Nagpur organized by Garnet Motors (India) Private limited, which runs its Mercedes Benz dealerships in Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Surat under the brand name “Central Star” and is 100 per cent owned by Cheema family. Cheema, a qualified lawyer (LLM) and post graduate in Management set his foot in Nagpur in 2012 after having a successful international career in corporate world and world over exposure. Cheema is ably supported by his son, Ankur Cheema, in all his business ventures.
