Giving information in this regard, Nidhi Chandrakar, President of Udan Nayi Disha Group, an organisation that makes such diyas, said that there is a ritual to float diyas in rivers and lakes during Kartik Puja and Chhath Puja. In such a situation, the lamps made of cow dung keep floating and present a very beautiful view in the entire river.
 
Devotees can watch these diyas floating for a long time. Apart from this, these lamps are also eco-friendly, and do not harm nature. Along with this, if these lamps are decorated in beautiful glass utensils, then a very beautiful environment is created from them. She further told that special preparations have been made for Diwali. There is a good demand for diyas across the country. They have also received orders from Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Tata Nagar and Lucknow. Apart from this, good demand has also come from England and Canada abroad. She said that we always do new types of experiments and this time also special work has been done in the decoration of diyas. It is noteworthy that the efforts to promote self-help groups in the state have shown a particularly good effect. The Diwali market is decorated with local products. There is a demand for these beautiful artifacts not only across the state, but also outside the State and abroad.
