Huge footfall was witnessed at Gurleen Shopping Fair being organised at Gol Bazaar on Sunday. Being a holiday and festival, people thronged in a large number the stalls being put up at the fair. Unique items made of wood, stone, metal and fabric are pulling huge crowd to the fair daily. People are buying things of their choice at cheap rates. The organisers of the fair also expressing satisfaction with the response they have been receiving from the people of Sanskardhani. It may be noted that Gurleen Shopping Festival is organised every year in the city. Likewise, once again it has commenced in the city since Thursday last.

 

Bhumi Hashtshilp Samaj Seva Samiti is organising the shopping fair. This year, more artisans from different parts of the country have put up their stalls in the fair. The products made of wood, metal attracting buyers. People of all age group are thronging the stalls and buying unique and handmade items. The stalls of home décor onyx marble, Rajasthani saris, dupatta, kurta, 5D photo frames, leather purse of Kanpur, cooling tower cane, papad of Punjab, imitation jewellery, bedsheet from Panipat, carpet from Badohi, crockery, health care products, Phulkari suits, Rajasthani Mojdi, famous Halwa of Kerala, Khadi shirts of Meerut, electronic products, branded shirts, t-shits, jeans, Rajasthani terracotta are attracting huge crowd. Organisers of the have appealed citizens to visit the fair and buy products of their choice at affordable prices.
