Agrovision Foundation with the support of Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) will conduct a one-day special outreach programme on ‘Promoting Agricultural Crop Export’ on October 9 at Hotel Center Point Ramdaspeth Nagpur from 10 am to 5 pm. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who is also the Chief Patron of Agrovisio, will inaugurate the programme in presence of the guest of honour Maharashtra Minister for Agriculture Dadaji Bhuse. Other dignitaries invited for the programme are Eknath Dawale, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Agriculture, Maharashtra; Dr M Angamuthu, Chairman, APEDA; Sunil Pawar, Managing Director MSAMB; and Dr Tarun Bajaj, Director, APEDA.
This special programme will focus on guidance to producers, existing exporters, FPO’s, traders and Government organisations from Vidarbha and Central India, to boost export potential of agri produces like vegetables, fruits and other agri products. Agrovision Foundation and APEDA have invited speakers from various Government research institutes, Government departments, laboratories, private sector and commercial organisations for the various sessions in the conference. Ravi Boratkar, President, Agrovision Foundation, and Dr C D Mayee, Secretary Agrovision Foundation, have appealed the interested persons to attend the programme and take the advantage of the knowledge of the eminent speakers.
