AS NOVEMBER 14 is approaching, the city’s Kingsway Hospitals in association with Indian Medical Association (IMA), Nagpur are all set to celebrate ‘World Diabetes Day’ in the noblest way possible. This year’s theme of ‘World Diabetes Day’ coincides with the 100th anniversary of the discovery of insulin, a life saving medicine for people living with diabetes. In view of this, there are thoughtful events organised for the medical professionals and healthcare workers like nursing staff and public throughout the day on November 14.
The day will begin with a cycle rally organised to represent and promote the importance of exercise in diabetes, which will be flagged off by Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari. The series of events are conceptualised by Dr Pramod Gandhi, Director Kingsway Hospitals, and Secretary MES.
